SOCIETY FOR HELPING ACTION FOR RURAL POOR (SHARP) was formed by a group of committed social workers, both male and females for the welfare and development of rural poor at the grassroots level in the target villages.

SHARP Society was registered under the Indian Societies Act XXI of 1860 vide Regd.No. 453/1996 dated the 10th December 1996 of District Registrar, Guntur.The Society is also registered under Foreign Contribution(Regulation) Act 1976 with Government of India, New Delhi.
